At Therapy webinar 2024

Jul 11, 2024

On July 10, in collaboration with At Therapy, we hosted a webinar unlike any other. With more than 110 physiotherapists from New Zealand, we had a valuable session in which Jeroen Regtop, an experienced physiotherapist from Heerlen, shared his insights on the treatment of knee and ankle injuries and surrounding topics such as the financing of braces in the Netherlands.

Why this Webinar?

The demand for international knowledge exchange has only increased in recent years. Physical therapists want to know how colleagues in other countries treat their patients, what choices they make and the role of funding in their treatment plans. This webinar was designed to fill that need and keep the conversations flowing among themselves.

Guest speaker Jeroen Regtop

Jeroen Regtop shared his clinical experience that demonstrated, among other things, the effectiveness of bracing in knee and ankle injuries. Jeroen's insights were not only theoretical, but also practically applicable, allowing participants to benefit directly from his knowledge.

Key Points of the Webinar

The webinar highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing, with learning from colleagues in other countries seen as crucial. Sharing experiences and treatment methods can significantly improve the quality of care for patients. Jeroen discussed how the funding of braces in the Netherlands has an impact on treatment prescribing, providing essential insight for physical therapists working with patients who benefit from bracing. In addition, the use of effective treatments was discussed at length and applied in the clinic, with Jeroen explaining how these devices function and why they are effective in treating injuries.

The Impact of The Webinar

The successful attendance and participation of physical therapists during this webinar highlights the need for more such educational sessions. The joint effort of Nea International and At Therapy with Jeroen Regtop not only spread valuable knowledge, but also created a network from which physical therapists from different countries can benefit.

Looking Ahead

Looking back on this event, we realize that knowledge sharing is a powerful tool to improve the quality of physical therapy worldwide. We at Nea International are determined to continue this dialogue and organize more webinars that meet the needs of physical therapists and medical professionals.
