On the lookout for new markets!

As an international company, we are always on the lookout for distributors in new geographical markets with potential. One of these markets is the Middle East. Many orthopaedic products are used in this particular market and people are already familiar with the use of braces as part of a course of treatment. Awareness of and attention to prevention is on the rise among doctors in this region. In addition, Dubai is looking to become an important centre for medical tourism by 2020. This makes Dubai an interesting market for Nea to look at and find out more about.

To gain further insight into local market conditions, we recently travelled to several countries in the Middle East. We visited a number of interesting contacts there, which we made during Arab Health in 2014 and 2015. With the help of these contacts, we investigated the market by visiting hospitals, pharmacies and medical specialists.

This was a very successful trip and we gained a lot of interesting insights and contacts from it. Nea will continue to build further on these contacts over the coming months. Thanks to the professionalism and enthusiasm of the people we visited, we are positive that Push Braces will have a bright future in the Middle East.
